@junecloud @timInTheCape @robrandtoul Not sure if this is related to bigger FedEx issues, but there is a secondary issue on iPadOS (9.3.2) where “View Online” results in a “No record of this tracking number can be found…” error. Manually copying the tracking number and copying into the FedEx website works.

@andyworksco 12 mini, iOS 15.5 (maybe that changed since I first mentioned this…). I stopped using Opal on Calc and Timer, so have no updates there. In weather, I don’t think I see it as often(?). For a while I thought it was a result of a new moon (is the moon a light source for the scene?)

@gruber @benthompson apropos Ives and the Watch—it’s important to note that Jony began a fairly public collaboration with Marc Newsom at this time. In fact, the Watch strap is a Newsom design for Ikepod. Clearly, there is an untold story about Newsom’s role in Jony’s late tenure

@ramaworks Looking forward to receiving my first CAPS, but trying to figure out why there is no R3 “dot”. It’s in all of your previous keycap sets and is near essential for a 65% right-hand row or a 68+10 Macro board. Without which, there’s kind of no way to use the other dots!

Safari for iOS 15 is bad, but can we get some of that @gruber favicon anger for the terrible animations in Safari? Swiping tabs to close is slow, there is no indication whether a link has opened in a new tab or the current tab, and moving in and out of tab view is janky.

@caseyliss re:Audi Unlike Toyota/Lexus et. al, VW/Audi only share platforms at the low end (GTI/A3). That Audi and Porsche share platforms is extremely recent. Porsche codeveloped tech with Audi in order to survive. The A4 is not a fancy Passat, the Q5 is not a fancy Tiguan.

@caseyliss I’ve owned VWs and Audis and if I wasn’t into cars, I might have no idea they were from the same parent company. Again, unlike Toyota/Lexus et. al, they share so little. If you’ve only ever compared the Golf R and an S3, you miss how many differences there really are.

@caseyliss It’s important to remember, too, that the recent AWD-all-the-things (and fast-wagon-all-the-things) is entirely the result of Audi’s 2000’s success. Audi and quattro basically invented the luxury AWD sedan. As for wagons, the E63 AMG exists only because the RS6 exists.

@caseyliss But the A4/6/7/8 and Q5 are unique cars with no equivalents in VW or Porsche. The R8 does share a platform and engines with Lambo, but have completely different tunings for GT and track use.
