@brake_robert @thenitinsawhney@mrjamesob According to his R4 interview yesterday he is a business and that’s why the lowly current account he was offered by NatWest is no good. I presume by that he means he needs to maximise the tax breaks of any donations he gets from his cronies.
@PaulPd171773@flamingginge@fedupofSuffolk@thenitinsawhney@mrjamesob I listened to NF on the radio yesterday and he agreed he was offered a NatWest current account. He’s been out of the news for a few months and is terrified of being irrelevant. He’s quite happy for people to be refused access to businesses when it suits his agenda
@zygradel @RosieisaHolt Mr Farage was happy to support a bakery in Ireland refusing to serve someone because of their views. Presumably this is different because (a) he thinks we should all agree with his views and (b) he’ll do anything to be in the news again as otherwise he’ll have to get a proper job
@Nickvilla20@edmundmlawrence@johnredwood You know that 1/3 managers in the NHS are actually clinicians who take on managerial responsibility and that compared to private business there is a significantly lower percentage of mangers in the NHS don’t you? I’m sure you didn’t just believe what you read in the Daily Mail.
@TarikAtakan1907@Bloke_On_A_Bike@AwayFromTheKeys@RamshawJanice@sophielouisecc Why is it an issue? It’s no different to someone opening a vegetarian restaurant. People can just choose to shop elsewhere. And as for the lawns, you must be kidding? Aside from the fact it probably saves them money, it increases diversity of wildlife, what’s the downside?
@hu22024798@SarahC2612 I don’t think it’s just money. My own Force (a long way from SE) is seeing unprecedented numbers go early as well. Experienced officers are frustrated and worn down, and new officers feel abandoned and out of their depth because there is no experience to support them.
@GeordieChris4 @nikefootball No one makes you watch it. The level of promotion is to make up for the 50years where women weren’t even allowed to use FA accredited grounds & there was no investment. Why were they banned? Because the fragile male egos in the FA were concerned by the crowds they were drawing.
@brianmoore666 I’ve felt for sometime that her team secretly can’t stand her and love to watch her fall flat on her face. Why else would they let her say the things she comes out with.
@sophielouisecc What the conversation that talks about how all the credible evidence shows that immigration has a net positive impact on our economy and without it the NHS would collapse due to the high percentage of roles occupied by migrants?
@Basil_the_great What freedom do you have now that you didn’t have before?
And can you give a real life example of how we didn’t have sovereignty and how that has now changed?
@sophielouisecc No that’s why we shouldn’t depend on fossil fuels that we have to import from other countries meaning we are subjected to impact of global changes in the fuel market, and can be held to ransom by the likes of Putin.
@stevejhenry22 @WFHPoros @LanceForman@JuliaHB1 Yes all those things impact us much more than them because Dover is a our main route to the whole of the EU and beyond. They have many other supply lines. The only trade this holds up for them is trade with us.
@GoCryElsewhere@katrussen@HEheatingwarks@DeborahMeaden No, the Port of Dover Authority asked for £33m to upgrade the infrastructure on our side in light of the anticipated extra checks required because of Brexit. The delays etc were predicted in the gvts own paperwork on Brexit but they refused to pay the money.
@JonWrong9 @SarahTrain6 @JuliaHB1 Spending more on staffing a border crossing to allow the same number of people and goods through is making them money? How exactly?
@stevejhenry22@top_bananas @WFHPoros @LanceForman@JuliaHB1 Yes & the drop has increased in rate because of border issues & increased bureaucracy. As imports of parts & goods drop it impacts our ability to manufacture & therefore what we have available for export. Bringing things in from RoW is much more expensive than thro EU pre-Brexit
@JuliaHB1@StirlingBlue1 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did you really just say ‘facts’? In reply to a tweet on a thread you started, where you didn’t bother to check out the facts before slagging someone off.
