Iran is attacking countries across the Middle East, yet it avoids attacking Israel directly.
Why? Because it knows the response would be immediate and costly.
Deterrence isn't about making speeches. It's about convincing your enemies that attacking you is the worst decision they'll ever make. Peace comes through strength.
“Zlatan Ibrahimović was terrifying 😭 Even Pep Guardiola was scared of him. I’m a grown man and I’m still scared of Zlatan. If he didn’t play, he’d destroy the entire scatter room.”

🚨🗣️ Arsene Wenger: "When you analyze the World Cup today, the game is moving at a pace you have to be able to keep up with."
"For instance, the Asian teams were all eliminated because they couldn't match the INTENSITY and SPEED of the game. Nor do they have the technical quality to really compete."
"For me, the real question mark is Spain. If any team is capable of beating France, I’d say it’s Spain."
"That's because they have a higher level of technical skill than France and a culture of collective football that is unmatched anywhere else in the world."
🗣️ 'It's true it's my last World Cup. I will have a think with my family and not make any decisions with a hot head"
Cristiano Ronaldo on his future after seeing his World Cup dream end at the hands of Spain.
HEART ATTACK PREVENTION (AT HOME):
1. Walk 30–40 minutes daily (brisk, not lazy).
2. Stop smoking completely — even “one a day” damages arteries.
3. Use less salt; avoid pickles, packaged snacks, instant foods.
4. Eat fruits or nuts instead of biscuits or fried snacks.
5. Sleep 7–8 hours at fixed times (irregular sleep strains the heart).
6. Check BP, sugar, cholesterol at least every 6 months.
7. Avoid sitting continuously for more than 1 hour — stand, stretch, move.
8. Reduce belly fat — waist size matters more than weight.
9. Manage stress daily: deep breathing, prayer, meditation, or quiet walks.
10. Drink enough water — dehydration thickens blood.
11. Avoid heavy dinner at night; eat light and early.
12. If prescribed medicines, don’t skip even when you feel fine.
13. Limit alcohol; zero is best for heart safety.
14. Learn warning signs — chest pressure, left arm/jaw pain, breathlessness, cold sweat.

"If people think NNPCL is bigger than the institution of the senate, I stand alone to say no." — Oshiomhole defends remarks made during public accounts committee proceedings
BREAKING: Senate disowns Mele Kyari arrest warrant and rebukes Senator Oshiomhole for describing NNPC as a 'bunch of criminals and thieves' during yesterday's Public Accounts committee's hearing.
Responding, Senator Oshiomhole, who refused to backtrack, reiterated his call for the investigation of Mele Kyari.
He also clarified that his 'thieves' comment was due to provocation sponsored by Kyari's refusal to attend the committee’s hearing despite being invited nine times.
This is Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, a man who once sat at the peak of power, wealth, and influence in Nigeria. He served as the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa and Taraba States) in 1983, and years later, rose to become the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) between 2012 and 2014.
Beyond politics, he was a towering figure in Nigeria’s business landscape — the former CEO of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), a seasoned international businessman, and the Chairman of the African Business Roundtable. He dined with kings, presidents, and captains of industries across Africa and beyond.
But today, this is his reality — frail, aged, and facing the inevitable struggles of old age and health.
This is the message life is showing us:
Everything fades.
Power fades.
Position fades.
Wealth fades.
Beauty fades.
Strength fades.
All that remains are your deeds, your character, and the way you treated others.
No human being can escape the cycle of life. It is humbling. It is scary. It is a reminder.
So while you still have breath and strength:
Live humbly.
Love sincerely.
Do good without expecting anything.
Fear God.
Remember that no one leaves this world with anything.
May God grant us a graceful old age, sound health, and a peaceful end. Amen.
