Once again, the Trump/Vance team shamelessly exploits Haitians as scapegoats during their bid for the presidency.

Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance and several congressional leaders have spread dangerous falsehoods, demonizing Haitian immigrants as homeless and hungry invaders that represent a threat to Ohioans — even suggesting they pose a danger to pets.

This reckless fear-mongering puts vulnerable communities at risk, stokes division, and incites hate crimes. Local law enforcement, faith communities, and social services must be supported in protecting these new community members from harm.

The simple truth is that towns like Springfield, Ohio, whose economy were in decline, have been revitalized by the influx of Haitian and other legal immigrants. As these communities adjust to demographic changes, this transitional period should be viewed as an opportunity for growth and collaboration, not for sowing confusion and fear.

We urge all Haitian-Americans and our allies to counter these vile attacks by actively engaging in the democratic process, promoting inclusivity. By doing so, we can help ensure that all members of society are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.

Here’s Kamala Harris's own actions and words on Israel and the Jewish community:

✅ She supported aid to Israel
✅ She arranged meetings and conferences with family members of the hostages and advocated for their release
✅ Hosted a screening of the documentary Screams Before Silence about Hamas's sexual violence and crimes against humanity
✅ Condemned the terrorist group and their violence against innocents, and even called for the threat of “Hamas to be eliminated.”

Kamala Harris recognizes the shared humanity of Israelis AND Palestinians and empathizes with every victim that lies in Hamas’s wake. She also supports Israel’s right to defend itself and condemns Hamas’ terrorism on every stage.

Empathy to both Israelis and Palestinians is the only way to bring peace.

I can’t think about Joe Biden without tearing up a little.

This man ran for president 5 times and lost then enthusiastically backed Obama and played the establishment number two to the greatest leader of his generation.

He wanted to run for president in 2016 but couldn’t because his son Beau died and he was too wracked with grief.

So he comes back in 2020, saves the country from Donald Trump and despite being a career centrist, proceeds to have the most pro-union, pro-working class administration in 80 years, pulls the country out of Covid, pulls us from the economic disaster of Trump into the best economy in the world.

He’s then betrayed by the media class and has to drop out because he’s too old for them. He steps down, for the good of the country, and immediately turns around and full-throatedly endorses the the first Black woman Presidential candidate finalist in U.S. history.
