Sir, is there a plan to have seamless connection between STRR and BBC roads? As I have understood, there's none. But was curious to know is there is one, if not, the rationale
@lkatheeq sir, is there a good map/image to visualise strr bcc sub-urb and hopefully bangalore circular rail, all at one place? To see the crossover points
A lot of misinformation is being spread among farmer WhatsApp groups. Here is an image I am sharing, which seems to suggest that 16% of the land being acquired for PRR is being retained by the BDA. Firstly, it is not wrong for the BDA to retain some land to monetise in future and repay the HUDCO loan, as long as it gets the master plan amended suitably. But, the fact is, in this project BDA is NOT retaining any real estate out of the current acquisitions.
So, the image below is fake and we intend to strongly fight misinformation. The true facts are following:
1. The right of way (RoW) for the highway is 65 meters and the remaining 35 meters will be used for commercial / mixed land use. This 35 meter corridor, except land required for town planning needs like park and CA sites, will be used entirely as compensation sites for the farmers and no real estate will be retained by BDA.
2. 1810 acres of land is being acquired for the road with 100 meter RoW. When we use 65 meter for road it is not as if we will save 35% of land along the entire 73 KM stretch. There are inter-changes, entry/exits where the entire 100 meters RoW will be used. So, even though 35% of 1810 acres is 633.5 acres, as per our calculations, after providing for inter-changes and entry/exits, only 400 acres of land will remain, that is 22% of 1810 acres. This land, after deducting some spaces for parks and CA sites, will be entirely reserved for compensation to the farmers.
3. In addition to 1810 acres for road, preliminary notification for additional 600 acres has been issued for inter-changes, clover-leaf junctions and NICE road integration at two end-point. That entire land will be utilised for roads.
4. In summary, 1810+600 acres = 2410 acres of land is being acquired (subject to variations after final notification is issued for the 600 acres of PN). So, 400 acres out of this is being retained for compensation sites, that is 16.6% for farmers. Nothing is being retained by BDA. Hence, the claim that BDA is retaining 16% of land is Note correct.
@Bc_Bengaluru please prepare suitable clarification and post on all your social media platforms in Kannada and English.

Had auto loan emi deduction scheduled for today. In hdfc app it was showing me 'due' with an option to pay. I thought auto deduct failed and hence I need to pay manually.
I paid, it deducted twice the emi amount
