@ruffydfire Can we use this strength for fighting to join forces to fight for our federal roads; because the roads are bad truly.

DEPLORABLE STATE OF FEDERAL ROADS
As December nears, the dire state of federal roads urgently needs attention.
Recently, Engineer Remi Oseni, Chairman of the House Committee on FERMA (Federal Emergency Road Maintenance Agency), expressed his frustration in a viral video which I have attached to this post (Frame 1) with the minister of Works, Mr Dave Umahi, questioning why federal roads remain in disrepair despite a N300B supplementary budget allocated to the ministry.
In response, Mr Umahi held a press conference promising that all federal roads would be motorable by Christmas (Frame 2) and confirming to the nation the funds have indeed been made available.
However, he has yet to outline a concrete plan on how to achieve his December promise. Words alone are insufficient; actions are needed.
I urge Minister Umahi to provide a clear timeline and strategy for fixing our roads before his promised deadline, starting with those in his own zone (SE), which will impact his December homecoming.
The Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, especially the Amansea section, is filled with potholes and traffic jams, causing significant delays for commuters.
Similarly, the Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway is hazardous, leading to accidents and economic losses, while the Owerri-Aba Road turns a three-hour trip into a grueling ordeal.
Even the portholes from Ontisha to Imo are horrible, why can't we have roads that run smoothly as a nation?
The neglect of these vital routes requires immediate action to ensure the safety of all travelers.
I urge all citizens of conscience to join in the call fr our roads be fixed.
All we are demanding is #FixfederalroadsUmahi

@KolaDemolaHQ Vehicle Damage: Constant repairs from bad roads strain transporters' budgets leading to waste of money for repairs most times due to the bad roads.
@KolaDemolaHQ Investor Deterrence: Poor infrastructure discourages both local and foreign investments making the economy limited to only its investments.
I and other well meaning Nigerians won’t stop until Honorable Minister David Umahi act decisively on our roads.
Because again, on September 17th, a tragic road accident on the Ogbere axis of the Benin-Sagamu expressway resulted in the loss of eighteen lives.
It was reported that a Toyota Hiace vehicle crashed into a severely deteriorated section of the road and that was basically the only cause of the accident.
This heartbreaking incident highlights the critical need for immediate repairs on our highways.
Ensuring proper maintenance and timely interventions is essential to prevent such devastating accidents in the future.
Hon David Umahi needs to prioritize road safety and take decisive action to make our roads safe for all travelers, we won’t stop #fixfederalroadsumahi until national Road Maintenance MasterPlan is unveiled and effectively implemented.
