@Sibs20Scouse @AnfieldEdition Top 3 is Molby, Fab, Masch. Probably in that order too.

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@riggsysoprano @DaveOCKOP he's undoubtedly be a legend regardless of if he goes to Saudi or not

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Anwar06839500 @Mufcalex4 @RClavity @Tgarratt10 by your logic Liverpool vs City would be a bigger rivalry than Liverpool vs Utd then? not sure i agree with you here

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@LFC___Tee @jorgschmatdke @wavidlx @FabrizioRomano Hate to break it to you but Florentino Luis is not the best young 6...

João Neves would maybe go well in our current system as one of 2 6's if given time to develop. But their midfielder that will go on to a big signing is Kökcu - unreal player.

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@AlanFRob42 @MentorAbimbola @AnfieldWatch so you'd rather another 8 instead of a 6. Thus keeping Fabinho as our only possible 6 going forward?

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@lfclewis6times @AnfieldWatch Only non attackers that i remember needing to be 'marked out of the game' are Pirlo Busq Xavi and KdB (far more attacking anyway). Trent has had that from two positions now- he's insane

still needs to work on the positional side (defensively) though. Not great at the back post

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Nostrildamus27 @LFCLaurie Curtis will 100% be in the squad next season. A homegrown player, not a high wage bill, still young. Ox Naby Milly would all go before him. I imagine Hendo Fab Thiago Curtis Elliot + 2 (hopefully 3) midfielders for next season will be our squad.

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Nostrildamus27 @LFCLaurie agreed, it's amazing how many Fifa players give opinions. we miss a neat and tidy midfielder (Gini) covers ground, doesn't lose the ball when pressed and is decent at counter pressing. only midfielders in the squad that give all of that are Jones and Keita but both injury prone.

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Gimmly4 @AnfieldEdition "he has never played there for benfica".

Other than the majority of games he played for them?

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@HarvLfc @_pauljoyce @FootballCliches I imagine they said it because he's a defender!

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Sanchooprop @LFChedz @DaveOCKOP facts

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@WheelerNicky @AnfieldWatch he's still underrated and an important part of the side.
we can't deny though he's no longer is as effective on the right side 8 position. He's definitely more effective as a 6 now, especially with Fabinho's drop off. Also, when did he get the captaincy taken from him?

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@RenMCFC Good player!

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Gavstar79 @Kevinoleo09 @AnfieldEdition Couldn't agree more with all 4 names you said there. If we wanted a 'stop-gap' loan for one season, why not get Gini? We know what he brings and he's fit for 60 games a season. We missed a big trick on Nunes and Bissouma. Even if we get Jude, we need atleast 2 more before 2024/5.

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Rimbeux @itslightsout93 @BTed71 @LFCTransferRoom literally, he's playing Fifa in real life

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@itslightsout93 @Rimbeux @BTed71 @LFCTransferRoom Pathetic league? It's more competitive than Germany and has more quality than French league...

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Dep7essedGSWfan @ZachMcElroy1 @skidz2073 @AnfieldEdition @FabrizioRomano @caughtoffside I watched a decent amount of Portuguese games last szn and he is special. I'm close to a big Benfica family and they think Nunes is the best in the league by far. Box to Box midfielder, everything to his game bar Long Shots. Everytime i saw he was motm, even vs Porto + Benfica

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@Bobbyyyno9 @LobasStepSon @Mobyhaque1 Plays for a club where every team in their league sits back against them bar Porto btw. And he was top scorer in the league and got 34 in all comps...

[Ethan Simmonds @esimmo83]

@neil_hannam @johnmerro1 literally on the quadrant, whereas Gordon's wasn't😭
