tifas hair is taking like a week to animate, i tried mixing manual animation with some physics. the physics stopped working properly after using it on a few strands, so it became a mix of physics and manual faked physics

(still workin on it rn, but its nearly done)

didnt have enough time before my break to work on my animation (was dealin with the konosuba stuff and etc), so an idea came to mind to see if i can do jiggle, but fit it into a way that works with my workflow, and i can now

ooh, neat, i see now how to make it look like its bein spit/spilled out in the first place i didnt expect to go back to this file, was gonna try it in the tifa/aerith vid, but its good i ended up knowing sumthin useful first

i cant properly render using my old saliva way anymore (fan/pc gets too loud/clicky), it was extremely laggy, and the UV Map stuffs extremely frustrating

i hada come up with a customized saliva alternative, so i spent a few hours thinkin of a solution, thankfully i got it

it looks great, my new way above doesnt look as good, but theres no choice. it comes with huge positives instead tho, like easier customization, animation, framerate, should be quicker rendering to

*when her eyes close and her eyebrows lower, the idea was that the saliva around her mouth forms a bubble that pops. still being worked on, so i hid it from view

alot of this stuff is just figurin things out on the spot, but i think i can make this idea happen

i think its lookin great so far, to me, its very convincing that its saliva/liquid physics when its neither, just more of the manual animatin way

her earring dangling is manually done to, thousands of near frame by frame animating

i think that for drool, its pretty convincing so far. ignore the color/speed, i need to learn how to handle this stuff first, so i think it turned out as well as it could have

its bigger when its at the top, gets thinner the longer it gets, doesnt affect the FPS, its great imo

i tried using flipfluids for drool, ended up getting an error, so i said k fuck you, and came up with a manual way instead

this is a test i did today for the tifa/aerith vid, but i wanted to learn how to do drool, more fluids sorta stuff, and now that i see i know how to do it manually, my power level has increased

i dont like manually doing all these effects, it takes forever, but watcha gonna do?

gave my pc a break from renderin, so i tried to play a flash game from ~20y ago, "Elf Bowling". couldnt find it, so i clicked "Show me a random game"
