Examples are everywhere. You probably already know who I'm talking about that uses this framing technique.
But here's what most people dont understand
you can't CREATE an enemy. You can only reveal and amplify who your audience already believes is the enemy.
First, identify what your audience already hates. What do they complain about? What do they blame for their problems?
That's your enemy.
Here's an example. Most people in English-speaking countries HATE authority. Frame yourself as a rebel against corrupt institutions.
Health products use Big Pharma as a tyrannical authority enemy
"Big Pharma is keeping this ancient dick pill medicine a secret from you. Click here before they delete this post."
The enemy must be believable. Your audience must say "THEY are the problem."
If you're making them think "that shit sounds crazy," you picked wrong.
You're not creating the villain.
You're naming it.
Making it clear.
Making it concrete.
Giving their existing anger a target.
This shit works because everyone wants to be the main character fighting evil.
You're just pointing out the evil.
And positioning your product as the sword.
