Mind blown
I need a minute as many beliefs were shattered after reading "Sociolonguistic nostalgia and the authentication of identity" by Mary Bucholtz (2003)
Seriously, I'm a new woman now.
Incredible what a seemingly harmless article can do to you... #sociolinguistics#tesol
Rose Aylett on #constraints: they can support, protect, prepare & challenge #teachers. All these can drive creativity to overcome situations and barriers ... to push our limits as teachers. So, imposing restrictions can actually be beneficial & generate #creativity. #IATEFL2019

Really great to see John Gray given a plenary st #IATEFL2019 this year. The arrival centre stage of inclusive pedagogy and the position within in of LGBT lives has been a long time coming. I hope more teachers start thinking about what teaching all the students in the room means.
