In case anyone is wondering what happened to the dinosaurs, here’s a baby Little Blue Heron.

With their long claws, sharp beaks, skinny legs, and prehistoric-looking feathers, Little Blue Heron chicks look more like tiny dinosaurs than modern birds. Their awkward posture and intense stare make them seem straight out of the Jurassic era.

A mother jaguar was recorded teaching its cub how to swim in the Brazilian Pantanal, captured by photographer Tomás Thibaud.

Unlike most cats, the Jaguar is an apex predator that actually loves water, capable of swimming across rivers while carrying prey heavier than itself
