Welcomed back our amazing staff today with an "Adventures Await" theme for LL. While this certainly is a new adventure for myself, I look forward to celebrating & supporting each other's journey & the experiences they will provide for the students this upcoming school year!
A school in Dallas put out a call for stand-ins to attend a breakfast for young boys, many of whom didn't have father figures of their own. They thought a few dozen people would come.
More than 600 dads showed up.

Who says manipulatives are just for younger kids? It was great to see algebra students at the HS manipulate equations in standard form to slope intercept form! 🤩

I've said "40 problems is a problem" referencing not so great worksheets. A few practice problems isn’t a terrible thing. But what if we changed the practice to feature strategy focus and reasonableness too! #elemmathchat
