I’m working my lil summer job and I asked this kid what grade he was in because he’s still in hs. He put on this tough guy face and said “I don’t know” “I don’t care enough to know” like give it a rest. I don’t think you’re cool because you don’t care about your education.
The company I got my summer job at gives me flashbacks to when I worked for Kmart in high school, but it makes me wanna “fall” down the layaway stairs even more.
I hope he’s embarrassed. Because that’s not something you ask when you first meet someone. I’m not bothered by questions, but genuinely that’s a bold decision.
I’m a super open person and I love being out and I will almost always answer a trans related question. But I got a summer job and on our first meeting, a coworker asked me if I transitioned bc my birth name is on the schedule and I told him no I just go by my middle name.
The way that I suggested Liam and I watch the first episode of Breaking Bad last night because we had been talking about watching it (we’re really late) and we ended up watching 6 episodes and stayed up way too late
I’m never moving in the summer again. Last time I moved was in the crisp cool air of winter. Now I’m in the depths of hell sweating through every article of clothing on my body.
i worked multiple jobs through college & paid off all of my student loans myself. i would be THRILLED if people who are still in student loan debt get relief via loan cancellation. people need to stop wanting others to suffer just because they think they suffered.
My 8th graders graduated today 😭 I had to give a little speech, and so many parents came up to thank me. I’m glad my art room is a safe space for my students, and that my students carry that home with them to their parents.
