Laney passed away in my arms tonight at 17 years old. I’ve never been an adult without her, but the commitment I made to keep her safe, happy, and fed was a huge part of me growing up. Almost Two decades with you just wasn’t long enough. I’ll miss you Laneybear.

@em1thy This is the appropriate response to misogyny, homophobia and transphobia in the workplace. Unfortunately, many times these transgressions are hidden in leadership meetings, disguised as issues with work product/tone/etc, and the aggressors are rewarded.
