@FiveTimesAugust Entirely concur with the TSC horse bedding pellets for litter to save ridiculous amounts of $$$. No odour, little tracking. Youtube "DIY Sifting Cat Litter Box for Wood Pellets" to see something similar to what I've used for years. Wish I knew how to add pictures to this post!

@FiveTimesAugust You will love their independent nature---you can leave the house for hours and not have to worry about who is going to let them outside. No walks needed in freezing weather. Not as overt at displaying affection, but their eyes and purrs will let you know you're loved.
