As the film 'Salmokji' continues its box office success, having surpassed 1.5 million viewers, the actual Salmokji reservoir that inspired the film is also set to become a tourist attraction.

Recently, on social media and online communities, posts titled ‘The Latest on Salmokji’ have been circulating, with scenes from the vicinity of the reservoir, provoking laughter. Initially, Salmokji was known as a location featured in urban legends and was considered a place to avoid. However, it has recently gained prominence as a location from the hit movie, and the area is now lined with guide banners, making it look much like a tourist attraction.

In fact, the area around Salmokji is now dotted with signs, including arrow signs reading “The Way to Salmokji,” banners, and even notices restricting nighttime visits to ensure the safety of visitors flocking there after dark. All of this is a result of the success of the movie ‘Salmokji’.
