As Jon stormed off the field, his teammates, caught in a mix of confusion and misplaced loyalty, began to chant, “Bitch! Bitch! Bitch!” They didn’t realize they were under the spell of the legacy sports casters, who had long portrayed Coach Walz as a revolutionary figure and convinced the players that he was a strategic genius, despite being clearly out of his mind with his absurd tactics. The half-time speech, which had been intended to rally the team, had instead turned into a chaotic display of nonsense: Coach Walz had insisted they ditch traditional strategies in favor of a “collective approach” where everyone shared the ball, regardless of how bad the pass. He proposed a play called the “Flying Pig,” where players were supposed to leap over the opposing team while chanting slogans about “social justice” and “equality on the field.” As Jon walked away, he could hear the murmurs of his teammates wrestling with the absurdity of the situation, struggling to break free from the narrative spun by the casters. He shook his head, knowing that true loyalty meant standing up for what was right, and he refused to be part of this circus any longer.
@MattOnClemson Back to back games against Rattler and Maye will be great tests for our defense. This Tiger team wins with defense. A 12-1 Tiger team gets into CFP with the 13-0 Big 10 Champ, SEC Champ, and Big 12 Champ. A 12-1 PAC 12 Champ could be a problem.
1st up, Beat the Gamecocks
@realbuffhole@dannykanell A 12-1 USC and a 12-1 Clemson would both have a ranked Notre on their schedule - common opponent - that consideration goes to USC - Clemson needs Notre Dame to beat USC or USC to lose Conference Championship. A 2-loss USC is out, same for Clemson
@jweisel@lonnyplot@BigGameBoomer A one loss PAC 12 Champ, USC, will be tough for the CFP selection committee to overlook for a CFP final four. But that's still two games away for USC.
@DWStraka49 I would vote @TCUFootball ahead of Michigan this week - the TCU's close road win against Baylor (winning record) has more "eye-test" value than Michigan's close home win against Illinois (winning record). Ohio State also had a close road win against winning team - leave them #2
@clemsonfan97@JamesJinSC@ClemsonTigerNet Agreed - it was Boyd/Bryant good, but not Watson/Lawrence good - fans want more of the later, Watson/Lawrence were first round picks - crazy good
With this defense playing shut down defense for 4 Qs, @ClemsonFB can get to 12-1 with DJ/Klubnick, but CFP selection is a wild card
@ClemsonSports Relentless effort - I don't know how to describe it, but you'll know when you see it - Barrett Carter vs Louisville - that's what it looks like - great game - it was fun to watch. Go Tigers @ClemsonFB
@D_Rench_ Shipley's TD run for @ClemsonFB was a Disney end-of-the-game moment for the win!
We just need to worry about what's in front of us - whatever happens, is going to happen, just keep battling and have fun.
Let's have fun #ClemsonFamily
Go Tigers- Beat Louisville!
#ShipHappens
@D_Rench_ @ClemsonFB Character-check game for coaches & players
Off - control line of scrimmage, run the ball, convert 3rd downs, score in red zone - no turnovers
Def - control line of scrimmage, sacks, TFL, get off field on 3rd down, no big plays - get turnovers
Def has to set tone - Go Tigers
@PeteThamel@CollegeGameDay What's next for @ClemsonFB? Stick with the plan - win all the home games for #ClemsonFamily win the Division, win the State Championship, win the Conference, & win the last game of the year. Control what you can control, can't control the CFP process
Go Tigers, beat Louisville
