@mrsdaoust Hi Ms Daoust! These are so lovely!! I had a question.. Heidi told me that she heard that costumes were NOT allowed at school this year. But Iโm pretty sure the newsletter said yes. Could you confirm?? ๐ฅฐ
Kind of thinking I should switch back to my old iPhone with Touch ID now that Face ID is useless in public. Didn't think face masks would over take the world, did you, Apple?
I am humbled by all those before me and acknowledge that I have tremendous privilege, not because I deserve it, but because it was given to me. I hope that learning from our past will help us make a better future โ that our history now will pave a better tomorrow.
Realizing that we look too much to the future and forget to remember the past. Our present is rooted in our history. When we take the time to remember where we are from, who made sacrifices to allow us to be here, what it took for our world to be now, we can actually change.
All the people ahead of them who were sacrificed for us to migrate here, from the indigenous people who were stolen of their lands, to those who endured slavery and discrimination, to the people who fought for human rights. They are the ones whoโve given me the privilege.
@KeenanCummings Iโve followed and admired your beautiful storytelling and work as a designer (since Front 2016!)... to find out that you speak out for what Christโs heart is truly about! I am so encouraged and grateful that these voices are out there!
It's kind of weird. During this quarantine, out of all the retail stores, I'm really missing Muji. I'm pretty sure I have enough at home, but I've been itching to buy some more pens and notebooks...
Celebs complaining about isolation is beyond annoying: itโs tone-deaf + offensive. Please pop your bubble of privilege + look to see who are truly suffering + sacrificing to get through this. Now is not the time to seem relevant: be helpful or ๐ talking https://t.co/BS8WdJvuOT
It's a new year, which means I decide on a new theme to guide my decisions and orient my life around: Compassion. The world right now needs more kindness and I'm starting with myself.
This makes me so sad. We just can't seem to figure out how to deal with technology and all the consequences of it. How One Company Surveils Everything Kids Do And Say In School https://t.co/s8ACUiTcq4 via @BuzzFeedNews
