short answer; yes. and there’s proof everywhere.😂😭
one thing, the brand that breaks the rules has to be twice as intentional about everything else.
“wrong” in your question is according to who? color rules are guidelines not laws.
see yeah, purple was never a “tech” color but cadbury, and loads of brand use it and it works because the story around it is consistent.
what strategy does is build context and context is what makes color make sense.
Buttt, there’s a limit. if your colors are actively creating confusion, especially in sensitive industries like finance, health, or security, that’s harder to pull off with strategy alone.
so yeah, wrong colors + strong strategy = risky but possible, wrong colors + weak strategy = Ekun egbere o.
I was reached out to by Havyn two months ago to work on their Brand Identity Design; and from the very first conversation, I knew this was something meaningful.
Havyn is a payment protection platform built to make online buying and selling safer. They identified a real problem: people are constantly dealing with scams, fake payment receipts, and the fear that comes with sending or receiving money online.
Their solution is simple but powerful: hold the payment securely until both the buyer and seller confirm that everything is fair and complete.
To build this properly, we started with a Strategy Call which we discussed the necessary details that's important to understand the brand and craft the identity. Then a Brand Strategy Document; a foundation that guides every decision moving forward was created.
It covered everything from the brand story and purpose to core values, personality, and verbal identity; ensuring the brand is not just visually appealing, but strategically sound.
From the problem Havyn is solving, the idea behind the logo was born.
The symbol was inspired by the concept of money and trust, abstracting the naira sign into a balanced “H” that represents both the buyer and seller, connected by a bridge, Havyn as the trusted layer in between.
The typography and colour palette were carefully selected to reflect the brand’s personality and core values while still feeling approachable to its core audience.
Overall, the identity was designed to feel like a safe layer; not loud, not aggressive, but present, reliable, and reassuring in moments where trust matters most.
It was genuinely a great experience working on this project, and I’m excited to share more.
Full project coming soon.

I’ve received a lot of “I love the colours,” and that’s been incredibly affirming because they’re doing exactly what I intended them to do.
The primary crimson red is intentionally named “The Stop.” 🛑 It’s designed to command attention, the kind of red that makes you pause, absorb, and truly see the message. It’s supported by a deep mahogany tone that introduces richness and contrast, while the complementary colours are carefully selected to reinforce the brand’s purpose without overpowering it.
The colour system isn’t screaming for attention but Instead, it acts like a breath of fresh air in a stale room saturated with soul-less predictable cold blues. It stands confidently, distinctive, but not desperate.
All illustrations and iconography were thoughtfully crafted by me to ensure cohesion across every touchpoint of the identity system.
I’ll be sharing the full brand identity project on Behance soon. 🚧
An autonomous agent just approved a transaction to a honeypot last week. Blind execution + no pre-checks = instant loss. Fragmented verification today = guesswork tomorrow.
ERC-8126 changes that. Agents self-register via EIP-712, get multi-angle checks (token legitimacy, economic stake, off-chain endpoints, historical behavior), all wrapped in ZK proofs for a combined on-chain risk score (0-100). Privacy preserved. Scalable. Provider-agnostic. @cybercentry Verification Suite makes this practical pay-per-call endpoints + open standard to stop drains before they happen. In an agent-first world, blind trust ends here.
Builders; Are you waiting for the next exploit or building with verifiable agents?
