@hiltonholloway I popped back to the UK last week. Roads are awful, but worse, and an easier fix, is the state of road signs. Dirty and in many cases needing repair. Surly an easy fix and maybe it will actually show people that infrastructure can be looked after.
I'm fully entrenched in Australia, and proud to be an Australian citizen these days. But I look back at the UK and feel frustrated at what I see - so I wrote my own personal manifesto on how the UK could rebuild. https://t.co/3rQxCJjTQG #UKPolitics
@TIFFINbitesized I was watching a new warehouse being built near me last week, of wood. Not steel and concrete. The Gabba should be rebuilt using new and innovative sustainable materials. If there is a need to rebuild.
@Palmdale_Motors Thank you. I would buy another 309 Gti tomorrow if I could, but they were never imported down under. These days my car of choice is Ford Ranger Wildtrak V6.
@Palmdale_Motors Absolutely. Wonderful car. 15k on the clock when I bought it, 90k when it left my ownership. And only then, as my then new wife said it wasn't appropriate with a baby on the way. Bought Alfa 155 twin spark next. #familycar
@addict_car Funny, was only looking at a Holden Frontera at the weekend. V6 petrol. Not many left here. I remember using one to pull a trailer and David Brown tractor from Bolton to Devon once. Over weight and performed well! There were 3 different diesels over the UK lifetime I think.
