With what I have seen and read on this app, Nigeria is never wining war against terrorism.
I am sorry but this is one painful truth we have to live with for the rest of our lives.
When someone posted a video of Sunday Igboho giving the Fulani terr0rists a 2 hour ultimatum to release kidnapped victims, people were in the comments laughing at him. But after they were released, same people claimed it was planned kidnapping. You people are just f00lish.
This should be a policy that must be intensified. When there is no market for cows whose supply chain cannot be traced; people will be forced to stop justifying barbarity.
A deliberate policy by South West government to identify the origin of any cows butchered and sold in the SouthWest and also to incentivize the consumption of other alternate livestock will deal major blow to those using open grazing to wreck havoc of civilians.
Is it okay for me to arrest a cow and butcher it right there to sell or eat?
Law abiding Fulani herdsman rearing and grazing cattle probably doesn’t exist!
@CRawkeen Don’t mind some of our security analysts. Thy pander to Fulani superiority.
Same analyst don’t see anything wrong if a faceless group of Civilians Vigilantes do the same up North to bring about more security or rescue hostages.
In d south, self defence & action is nt required?
Very good point. The innocent bandits and terrorist were chased about and attacked by everyday people like Igboho in Zamfara and they got their cows back.
Are civilians terrorist for want to rid their forest of terrorist and bandits too? Or you are triggered because it’s in d S
Sunday Igboho is a terrorist just like Kanu, yet he walks free while Kanu is still in prison. SW politicians must be sponsoring that animal to continue terrorizing innocent people.
Exactly what South Africans are doing to Nigerians and we are hating South Africans.
@ose_anenih Nature hates vacuum, the incapacity of the state to monitor the vast ungovern spaces in the country is alarming. Non-state actors will continue striving to capture these spaces.
@ose_anenih@asemota I don’t support him nor agree with his methods, but I know the following:
1. The human will to survive is undefeated
2. Human nature abhors a vacuum (and we have too many vacuums in Nigeria now)
3. Those who make peace impossible, make violence inevitable.
@Rexcornel02 Quite possibly the same authority that bandits and terrorists and Fulani herdsmen are using.
On a serious note, those guns could be licenced plus you could see some persons in black those are likely Civil Defence or Forest Guard.
Seriously sad that Fulani have taken over the Old Oyo National Park with Cattle and chased away natives from being able to use the location for farming.
This is a seriously unfortunate that the Government has allowed them disregard the rights of others.
@beautifulajike he will come to Oyo National Park and hide amongst Fulani to kidnap, maim and make billions.
We must be united about stopping criminality no matter the perpetrator.
@beautifulajike Move down South and when people seek to get get access into their farmland and forest where the Fulani have now sought refuge and taken over, they will be told never to go there that Fulani have right to move and graze in peoples ancestral lands.
Same bandit knows this so
@asemota (d) Nigeria needs a regionalised security architecture with special forces able to respond within 3 hours of any incident.
(e) Highway patrols need to be reinstated aggressively especially along rural roads.
(f) No sacred cows or special rights for any group or in any location
@asemota (c) the state must be prepared to use its monopoly of force against bandits, kidnappers, armed herdsmen and other non state actors committing crimes (d) civilian vigilante and intelligence groups must be encouraged to provide more intelligence to the DSS.
