This is what’s been missing from the Jewish response to the tidal wave of campus harassment, workplace hostility, and social media mob attacks since October 7th. Not more defensiveness. Not more “let me explain the nuance” hand-wringing. 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞. Make 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 answer for the ideology they’re defending. Phillips wrote this book after visiting Jewish communities in Britain, America, and Australia that were “struggling to cope with the relentless onslaught of lies, defamation and attacks” since October 7th (𝘑𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦). The book covers how to handle verbal ambushes, psychological isolation, and what she calls the paralyzing “red mist” of anger that prevents effective response.
