"Special police units who searched the house of the man arrested after the killing of MP Jo Cox are believed to have found samples of Nazi regalia and far-right literature."

The murder took place on Thursday 16th June. Mair first appeared in court charged with Jo Cox's murder the day after this report appeared, on Saturday 18th June.

So it would appear talking about a suspect's political views and how they might have played a part in their alleged crime before they appear in court is ok SOMETIMES.
