ROAD OPEN
1/2 The Kenya National Highways Authority informs the public that Mtwapa - Kilifi (A7) Road is now open to traffic.
This follows completion of restoration works at the Mbogolo Bridge that was washed away by floods.
2/3 is set to be complete by March next year.
In witnessing the launch of this final girder, the Director General was accompanied by directors Eng. Njuguna Gatitu (Planning, Research and Compliance), Eng. Henry Gakuru (Development), Eng. Daniel Cherono (Maintenance),
3/3 and Eng. Charles Obuon (Public-Private-Partnership).
The Road project, once complete, will link mainland Mombasa to the South Coast in just under 30 minutes without going through the ferry.
