สุดท้ายเมื่อตำรวจที่เป็นที่พึ่งสุดท้ายยังช่วยอะไรไม่ได้ วันที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2009 โซราโดดลงมาจากชั้น 18 และน้องสาว โซจอง อดข้าวอดน้ำ เป็นโรคซึมเศร้า จนตัดสินใจโดดลงมาจากดาดฟ้าตึกวันที่ 3 พฤศจิกายน 2009 ��รื่องนี้ทำให้คนเป็นพ่อของทั้งคู่ใจสลาย จนเส้นเลือดในสมองแตกเสียชีวิตสองเดือนต่อมา
