Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren

She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements.

Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service.

JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes.

The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%.

For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%.

Warren said no.

She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024.

Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year.

Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug.

510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December.

14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight.

And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms.

Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back.

40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market.

And the math ain’t mathing.

Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%.

That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.”

So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money?

Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years.

Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do.

Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.”

A win.

14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight.

And she’s taking credit.

This is socialism in 2026.

A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company.

She saved you a billion on imaginary paper.

She cost you ten times that in real life.

She didn’t protect consumers from anything.

14,000+ will go from working to welfare.

She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed.

Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything.

Unrealized gains tax for Gen-Z:

You buy a Pokémon card for $50.

Someone offers you $500 for it. You say no. You love that card. You're keeping it.

The government says: "Cool, but that card is worth $500 now. You owe us $100 in taxes."
You: "…I didn't sell it."

Government: "Don't care. Pay up."

You don't have $100 lying around. So you're forced to sell the card you love just to pay a tax on money you never received.

Next month? That card drops back to $50.

Your card is gone. Your money is gone. And the government shrugs.

That's a wealth tax on unrealized gains. They don't pay you back the tax...

Now picture this.

Your mom calls you crying. She has to sell the house she raised you in. Not because she can't afford it. She's lived there 30 years. It's paid off.

But some website says it's worth more now and the government says she owes $15,000 she doesn't have.

So she sells your childhood home. The kitchen where she made you breakfast. The doorframe where she marked your height every birthday.

Gone.

To pay a tax on money that was never real.

Now picture the opposite.

Your dad put everything into his small business. For 20 years he built it from nothing. One year the business is "valued" at $2 million on paper. He owes a massive tax bill. He empties his savings. Sells his truck. Borrows money. Pays it.

Next year the market crashes. His business is worth $200,000.

He lost everything to pay a tax on a number that doesn't exist anymore.

Does the government give him his money back?
No.

Does the government give him his truck back?
No.

Does the government care?
No.

They sold this idea as "taxing billionaires." But billionaires have armies of lawyers, offshore accounts, and trusts. They'll be fine.

You know who won't be fine? Your mom. Your dad. Your neighbor with a small business. The farmer down the road who's had the same land for four generations and now has to sell it because dirt got expensive.

You're not taxing wealth. You're taxing people for owning things.

It's like getting a parking ticket for a car you might drive somewhere someday.

They want you to own nothing and be happy. To fund the fraud, waste and abuse of the welfare state they created.

There is enough money. More tax isn't needed. It's all a lie. But you've been gaslit into believing this is a rich vs poor debate.

Here are some deceptive things @ticketmaster promoters and artists do.

1: Holdbacks- there is zero transparency how many tickets each show holds back from the sales. They can create much more demand and cause panic buying and dynamic pricing by doing this.

2: Platinum tickets - these are just tickets that are being scalped by the promoter/artist. The only added benefit you receive is paying more for the show, they give it a fancy name to make you feel better or even trick you into thinking you get something extra.

3: Dynamic pricing- this is a tactic used to raise ticket prices during the sale to make more money from you. Again this is nothing beneficial to the fan. Used together with holdbacks.

4: VIP Packages- most of the VIP packages add junk just to increase the price of the tickets. I have seen them add early entry and a blanket to lawn tickets and add $200 for that.

6. Aisle seats- adding additional money for these seats. However even more greedy, they generally do the first 4 seats on each end. Calling seats 3-4 aisle seats to get more money is nonsense.

7. Adds due to demand- the majority of added shows are already signed and contractually obligated to happen. They do not tell you about these adds though because they want to direct more sales to the first show as people are more inclined to panic and buy platinum and overpriced tickets if they think it’s the only show.

8. Waitroom queue- Ticketmaster uses an algorithm, no one else knows it 100% Generally they rank every account on your “fan behavior” so brokers for instance transfer and buy more shows. That will hurt their rank. Brokers buy, sell and test 1000s of accounts to try and get to the front of the queue. Unfortunately Ticketmaster queue allows the same account to always be in the front until it is re-ranked. So that is why you’ll see someone get multiple tickets to multiple shows while you can’t get any.

9. Artist Sign up presales- they claim this is to slow down bots and brokers, but that’s just not the case. This is to give them more information on the number of sign ups to help determine the demand and pricing.

10. Ticketmaster resale- Ticketmaster has used a platform that allows people to list tickets for sale. Naturally the biggest hit users supply them with the most amount of money in fees, so what incentive do they have to shut those people down?

Lastly, ticketmaster does not set the prices. Artists and promoters do. They deserve the majority of blame when you see outrageous greedy prices.

I’m sure I forgot some things, but please add some other ways they take advantage of fans.
