@Everton Two very telling things he said. Firstly, ‘well I didn’t really set any targets at the start of the season’: What proper club doesn’t have targets but just ambles along? Secondly ‘when the clubs that are involved in competing for trophies..’ - admitting that we don’t even try.

Anyone that is fit, motivated, can contribute well, good attitude that won’t cause problems, and not looking for silly wages. If Vardy ticks all those boxes, why not. There may not be many that do, but we need to exhaust all the available options
@NilSatisNews@ElBobble If he has an injury that will keep him out for a while, how does that make him any less of a player and any cheaper? FFS just pay the agreed price and get on with it. What an omnishambles
@NME At least a band is headlining a festival but from what I’ve heard they play Ok background or advert/tv atmospheric music; good at what they do but nothing special. The best new-ish rock/indie band around now are Nothing But Thieves.
@TheEvertonEnd The irony is that had we gone all out to relegate Spurs in that last game, this wouldn’t have happened. Now they are taking our best player. I knew that would come back to bite us but didn’t think it would be in this way. Karma for us for being such pushovers on & off the field
@PhilHoward90880@WatchedToffee Exactly. It infuriates me every time they spend big & now ironically it has directly negatively impacted us. A proper team would have smelt blood & relegated a cartel club given such a chance. But we rolled over as usual. Now they take our best player. Karma
@GiuliaBould@BBCSport@TomMallows_ It was all a tactical masterclass by TFG: get the fanbase riled by thinking HA is being sold, softens the blow when Iliman is sold & Kenny Tete is the RB choice. They probably also got Forest in on it by letting them have free run to sign Munoz. We’ve been used & played big time
@Mannyefc1878 It was all a tactical masterclass by TFG: get the fanbase riled by thinking HA is being sold, softens the blow when Iliman is sold. They probably also got Forest in on it by letting them have free run to sign Munoz. It’s a classic bait and swerve or something like that!
@notJoth Seems like all this could be a ploy to soften the blow when Iliman is sold and no time to replace him with an exciting signing. I wouldn’t even put it past them selling him to the RS if City are buying that Gapko fella from them. TFG are interested in success on the pitch
@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC We weren’t happy with you putting this story out yesterday David, but in hindsight only you did,it would have gone through without the away section yesterday getting to vent their feelings. So actually, thank you! Maybe you are a closet blue. What another strange 24 hours at EFC
@ElBobble Have we all been played here, classic Everton distraction/swerve? Smokescreen for getting a sub-par RB in Tete, and selling Skilman on Deadline Day with no time to replace him? The fans feel like it’s a win but the club are laughing at us behind our backs? Feels a bit contrived
@DarthDisco_Bill@ALANMYERSMEDIA Yes. A serious club would have gone all out to relegate one of the Sky Six, to get rid of them for at least a season and weaken them financially. Not us, we passively gave them a get out of jail free pass. Every time they spend millions, it infuriates me.
@TookTimbo Kofi and Creed, yes. Sheamus, yes if he has the right attitude. Not familiar with the other two, don’t think they are needed when the roster is already bloated. They would add very little. Off to TNA with them
