El carisma y los millones de seguidores ya no bastan.

A partir de ahora, si quieres hablar de medicina, finanzas, derecho, educación o temas militares, tienes que demostrarlo con un título universitario o certificación profesional. 🎓📜

Douyin (el TikTok chino), Weibo y Bilibili ahora verifican tus diplomas. Sin comprobante oficial… no publicas. Punto. 🛡️

Las multas son brutales: hasta 100.000 yuanes (unos 14.000 dólares), eliminación de videos, bloqueo de cuenta y adiós a la monetización. El negocio de la desinformación se puso muy caro 💸🚫

Además, todo video debe:
- Etiquetar si usa IA 🤖
- Citar fuentes verificables
- Dejar claro si es opinión personal o consejo profesional.

China decidió poner orden donde cualquiera daba consejos sin respaldo.

Vivimos en una sociedad que depende de la ciencia y la tecnología pero seguimos negando sus resultados.

El astrofísico Neil deGrasse Tyson lo resume con datos que no admiten mucha discusión:

En la época de las cavernas, un ser humano vivía en promedio 30 años. Para 1840, la esperanza de vida apenas había subido a 35. Y eso que todo era “orgánico”: aire puro, agua sin procesar y animales de libre pastoreo.

Aun así, la gente moría joven.

Lo que realmente disparó la expectativa de vida no fue la “vida natural”, sino la ciencia: vacunas, antibióticos, saneamiento, tecnología médica y conocimiento acumulado.

Por eso las expectativas razonables deben alinearse con lo que muestra la evidencia científica.

Y si algo enseña la historia es esto: cada vez que confiamos en la evidencia, avanzamos; cada vez que la ignoramos, retrocedemos.

Un estudio acaba de demostrar que los estudiantes que usan inteligencia artificial se vuelven más inteligentes, y otros que también usan inteligencia artificial se vuelven más estúpidos. El mismo estudio descubrió las dos cosas.

¿Cómo puede ser?

La Universidad de Messina, Italia, agarró a 213 estudiantes universitarios, les midió el pensamiento crítico, los dejó usar IA durante un tiempo y los volvió a medir. Los que entraban a ChatGPT, copiaban la respuesta y la pegaban sin pensar, empeoraron: el cerebro en piloto automático. Pero los que cuestionaban lo que la IA les decía, lo contrastaban con otras fuentes y se involucraban de verdad con el contenido, esos mejoraron significativamente su razonamiento crítico.

Lo que mejor predijo los resultados no fue cuánto sabías de tecnología, sino tu nivel de engagement: qué tan involucrado estabas realmente con lo que estabas haciendo. Porque cuando usás la IA de forma activa, pasa algo: se encarga de filtrar la información irrelevante y te libera recursos mentales para enfocarte en lo que importa de verdad. Básicamente le hacés una mejora a tu cerebro.

No todas las tecnologías funcionan así: las redes sociales, como esta, tienen correlación negativa con el pensamiento crítico siempre. Están diseñadas para engancharte con dopamina barata. La inteligencia artificial es totalmente diferente.

Usala para pensar con vos y no por vos.
