The Division of Forestry has authorized a burn permit for 21606 Carter Road (just off of Corkscrew Road) in the eastern end of the Estero Fire district. Please be aware that there may be smoke in the area and that it could be heavy at times. Use caution if traveling in the area.
2 prescribed burns will be going on today- one at 23998 Corkscrew Road and will be approximately 200 acres. The second done by Water Management and will be 2 acres located just on the northside of Carter Road. Expect heavy smoke in these areas today. #GoodFire

EFR is on scene of a vehicle rollover at Coconut Road & Three Oaks Parkway. Two vehicles were involved with two patients. Neither are determined to be trauma alerts. Crews are currently working to extricate a patient from one of the vehicles. Avoid the area.
๐TRAFFIC UPDATE: Corkscrew Road is now back open after being closed to a broken gas line. Please continue to use caution if you travel through the area as crews clean up.
Crews are on scene of a gas line leak at Corkscrew Road and Firehouse Lane, by Pinewoods Elementary. A line was accidentally cut by power teams working in the area. The road is expected to be closed about 3 hours while repairs are made. Please avoid the area if possible.

I-75 NB is currently closed at mile marker 123 due to a motor vehicle crash between a semi and a pick up truck. NB traffic is being diverted at Bonita Beach Road. The highway is estimated to be closed for about 2 hours for cleanup. There were no injuries.
