@steph_johnsen @anotheroldkate @ThePosieParker I respectfully disagree. I have also worked with nurses for years from both education backgrounds however I understand one person's experience isn't the same as another's. I would also argue what people want from their nurse.

Healthcare isn't static, it is constantly changing and the people working within that have to adapt with it, educating to a higher standard is essential.

No Galatians 3:16 doesn’t replace God’s covenant with Israel. Stop listening to people who get their knowledge of Scripture from KGB active measures.

“Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his seed. It does not say ‘and to seeds,’ as of many, but as of one, and to your seed, which is Christ.”

Those who push “replacement theology” twist this verse to say, “See? Israel’s time is over. The Church is the new chosen people.”
But that is not what Paul is saying.
Not even close.

Paul’s point is not that God canceled His promises to Israel, but that the promise to Abraham found its ultimate fulfillment in Christ, the promised Seed.

Jesus is the bridge between Jew and Gentile, the doorway into covenant blessing, not the one who locks Israel out.

Galatians 3 does not erase God’s covenant. It reveals the mechanism of grace.

Faith in Christ brings Gentiles into the promise. It does not push Israel out of it.

When God said to Abraham, “I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you for an everlasting covenant” (Genesis 17:7)

He meant everlasting. Eternal does not have an expiration date.

Paul drives this home in Romans 11 using the olive tree image.
Israel is the root, God’s chosen people, the origin of the covenants and the prophets. Gentile believers are wild branches grafted in through faith in Jesus.

“Do not boast against the branches. You do not support the root; the root supports you.” (Romans 11:18)

God never cut down the tree. He simply invited more branches to grow from it.

Paul warns the Gentile Church not to become ARROGANT, not to forget that salvation came through Israel, not in spite of it.

He closes that chapter with a promise that destroys replacement theology in one line:

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29)

They cherry pick Scripture just like they cherry pick facts and omit context.

And as much as I loathe when they do it with politics, nothing makes me more angry than when they twist Scripture for their vile agenda.

@HPluckrose I'm having this argument with a friend of mine that insists I should just train to beat men because most men are incredibly weak. He is a very strong man, they are weak to him. It's hard to convey to him that even weak men are a lot stronger than me.
