You’re not helping — you’re holding them back.

College coaches are betting their job, income, and livelihood on the athletes they recruit.

If you can’t trust your kid to lead their own recruiting process… Why should a college coach offer them & trust them to get it done?

Let them grow.
Let them fail.
Let them own it.

I’m happy I don’t sit in the stands during our games. Hearing parents rip apart coaching decisions is brutal. I promise they’re doing their best - they really want to win, too. Hard for athletes to trust their coaches if they hear negative rhetoric from the people they love most.
