@ElliscbIV Texas and Alaska seats will always be “playing offense” for Democrats. Like Doug Jones in Alabama. So it’s not a 2032 nightmare. The whole ballgame is trifecta asap so that our democracy doesn’t need, long-term, to be trifecta-or-bust in order to function.

@dilanesper The best argument for packing the court is to make the court less beholden to personalities. Make it huge and have only random panels decide cases. Create some internal accountability. Nine judges for life is a *crazy* system and needed to end years ago
