I think the emotions that hit the Wanna One members hardest stem from realizing that, while they assumed Guanlin was doing well on the other side of the world, they had not considered the immense solitude of his new journey. Starting a brand new career as a director in China after retiring from the public eye meant pursuing his dreams entirely alone, away from his home and family.

The realization that Guanlin has held his memories of Wanna One so close to his heart all this time, despite the briefness of that era, even after stepping away from the limelight and how the members still believed that a reunion would be possible whenever they all wanted it.
