Brian Cage reveals he chose AEW over WWE due to job security because he had been released in the past by WWE. Saying it's a “feather in his cap” to be successful without the WWE rub:
“Job security. Big time, that’s the main one, and just longevity. It’s so much more chill there. There’s a nice feather in my cap to have been as successful as I’ve been. To have the house, I have the cars, I have the life I’ve had, to live the career I’ve had, without ever having, like, the WWE rub, I do feel like that’s that’s been kind of a nice little bonus, which is pretty hard to get.
There was a lot of interest and I, it’s funny because I wanted to go there. You don’t know what you’re going to get either place. There’s no guarantees. They could say that we’re going to use you this way, that way, whatever, but obviously there’s you don’t know anything. And after going back and forth, all the different pros and cons, a lot of stuff with AEW just seemed more safe, if you will, which is, it’s pretty hard to have some sort of security in this business.”

Ossoff: "The president was so humiliated in Hormuz he threw his toys out the stroller and refused to sign the affordable housing bill. That's after he gave some felon donor a no bid contract for the reflecting pool and it filled up with algae, which for some reason required the deployment of the National Guard. And then because of his war and tariffs, inflation rose to over 4%. He promised to bring down prices on day one, do you remember that?"

This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious.
Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal. https://t.co/72wxaVLzVT

A judge in Tennessee blocked the state's health department from handing ICE sensitive data about roughly 400 seriously sick and disabled immigrant children who are enrolled in a healthcare assistance program.
A temporary restraining order came through after 3 doctors in Nashville sued because state letters told providers and immigrant families that a new law required them to share identifying information after the end of June.
This policy targets the Children's Special Services program: a public healthcare initiative that covers children with serious conditions like cancer, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, and diabetes.
Doctors argued that the mandate forces an impossible choice on families, which might potentially lead parents to pull their children from lifesaving care over fears of being abducted and deported by ICE.
The fascist police state is trying to convert our nation's doctors and medical records into tools for deportation. We can't normalize this.
Forcing a choice between lifesaving care or deportation is social murder.
I got nothing but love and appreciation for the 3 doctors in Nashville who are standing up to these fascists and suing them.
Republicans want women to be silent about the suffering happening under GOP abortion bans.
I will never stop uplifting the voices of women. We have to make sure their stories are impossible to ignore.
JD Vance just told you everything you need to know.
He thinks Watergate wouldn't have taken down a president today. He sees a parallel between what happened to Nixon and what's happening now, and he's proud of it.
JD Vance is dead wrong if he thinks a faster news cycle buys him immunity — especially for an Administration that, by his own admission, may be doing things that make Watergate look minor.
And when Democrats have the gavels again, every document, every corrupt act, every quid pro quo, and every conflict of interest that this Administration thought they buried will see the light of day.
Let’s debate then, Senator. And let’s do them town hall style. Refusing to hold a single town hall in almost 3 decades because you cannot defend your own record is disqualifying as Maine’s United States Senator.
@davenewworld_2 Trump's America, where people who protest crimes against humanity get longer prison sentences than people who commit crimes against humanity.
8 anti-ICE protesters received sentences from 30 to 100 years, with several receiving 50 years or more. The harsh sentencing is meant to be a warning that intimidates activists around the country.
Their protest began as a noise demonstration outside the Prairieland ICE facility using fireworks, which escalated into vandalism by some participants, and also included 1 person shooting and injuring a police officer. They were convicted on "terrorism" charges.
This is the first time the US government applied domestic terrorism charges against individuals accused of being part of an "antifa terror cell."
One of the the individuals convicted wasn't even at the facility when the protest, vandalism, or shooting happened. He was convicted after-the-fact for moving a box of political zines and personal items out of an apartment after receiving a panicked call from his wife.
Organizing a rowdy noise protest with fireworks and some graffiti is entirely different than what the prosecution has framed as a coordinated "terrorist plot" to ambush and attack police.
The activists had no prior knowledge that any shooting or violence would occur.
Doing harm to anyone was never part of the plan, but they're being labeled as terrorists as if it was.
For further context, all of their legally purchased firearms were disassembled in backpacks and in the truck, except for the shooter. How many "terrorist cells" do you know with intent to commit harm are showing up without their guns?
The shooter was the only person who physically brought a firearm up to the facility gates and the only person who opened fire. According to testimonies, he didn't disclose to the other protesters that he intended to use a firearm. He also said in a written statement that his shooting was not a planned ambush, but a split-second reaction and a mistake.
If they were a "terrorist cell," wouldn't they ALL be armed at the gates instead of a lone shooter who impulsively acted on his own?
These sentences are extremely harsh because they want it to be a deterrence on protests. They want you to think it can happen to you. They want to make you afraid that attending a protest that you think can only escalate into a citation or misdemeanor may actually get you 30+ years on terrorism charges because of a violent exchange you never saw coming. It's a fascist scare tactic.
