If this story is true, the Court should issue its opinion right away. Otherwise the disgraceful leak wins. I would say that if my side lost. If we lose the integrity of the Court’s process, we lose the Court. That should be intolerable to all of us who live the country.
An unprecedented moment for our justice system and will only plant distrust in the eyes of the public. Will be interesting to see how SCOTUS handles this.
Right now: Barricades are up around the Supreme Court building, just minutes after reports from Politico were leaked indicating SCOTUS has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.
It’s impossible to overstate the earthquake this will cause inside the Court, in terms of the destruction of trust among the Justices and staff. This leak is the gravest, most unforgivable sin.

2. Stop being a little bitch.
Most of us are unproductive because we’re complaining to ourselves in the dim theatre of our minds about how ‘hard everything is.’
Stop whining, and stop moaning.
Today I had my “lightbulb” moment for legal writing. This writing process is different, feels unnatural, and has posed me many challenges.
With 3 weeks left to complete my final brief— I hope this moment represents the top of that mountain. May it all be downhill from here!

I tried something new in my #1L legal practice class today: a short LEGAL TWEETING exercise
I asked my students to draft a tweet about a recently decided case from the perspective of an advocacy organization.
I was pleasantly surprised with how it went.
