Milford's @Ethan_Long8 got some playing time with @NDFootball in his first season in South Bend. After a great spring, the former @Wick_Football_ star is looking to make a jump in year two with the Fighting Irish @WTNH

Notre Dame Will Change You,
If You Let It!
In a time when people question the value of academics in college athletics, our players are studying abroad, traveling the world, and growing as men beyond football. That’s development too.

Everything we’ve seen from Ethan Long this spring says he could start if Notre Dame ever needed him to this season.
Watch the way he dive-bombs this run play and makes the tackle. Long is big, fast and physical with great instincts.
My latest on #NotreDame:
3 former @Wick_Football_ teammates had strong showings in Saturday's Blue-Gold Game: Matty Augustine, Blake Hebert and Ethan Long.

We’ve seen this before too!
Brunswick alum & current Fighting Irish DB @Ethan_Long8 (#22 in white) making a big-time red zone play in today’s spring game.
Notre Dame safety Ethan Long has "FAITH OVER FEAR" tattooed in huge letters on his forearm 🙏
A tribute to his late grandfather who taught him the mindset that's now driving his rise in what might be the nation's best safety room. ☘️

Notre Dame Safety Ethan Long Building Momentum for Bigger Role in 2026
“I think we have the best safety room in the nation. Everyone's going to have their moments. Everyone's going to play well."

Ethan Long recorded his first career interception against Syracuse last season.
He is now looking to build on moments like that this upcoming season, and today I asked him what that experience was like.
"I'm not going to lie. I didn't even hear the crowd."
