@UltraRunnerPod We had a blast in Croatia going up and down the coast. I’m sure Montenegro and Albania have even more stuff to do than when I was out there. Re: trails, we didn’t do a lot of running there back in ‘08 but I know the hiking was supposed to be good

@UltraRunnerPod We did our honeymoon in Croatia in ‘08 and went on a day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. Really scenic! The Bay of Kotor was amazing… we also had stops in Cetinje (old capitol) and Budva (on the beach). Have a good trip!

@maxdubler Separate interior storm windows (laminated glazing) are often able to be retrofitted into residences with good effect. Depends on the sill depth.

Ethan Salter has been an avid photographer since he was a child with a focus on landscape and urban subjects where the adjacency and composition of the natural and artificial create unique scenes. New York is one of his favorite places to visit and photograph.

@markasaurus Agree. Most prefer 2-3 days a week in office, but exactly which 2 to 3 days do not always neatly align with others’ 2-3 days. So you end up with either near-2019 levels of occupancy or else just a few folks in the office.

@stillwell There was a place in the NorCal suburb we live in that was called Small Talk a few years ago when our kids were little. It had food, plus play areas, a small slide, play kitchen, book area, racks of dress up costumes, etc. Closed down before COVID though. Liked the idea.

@markasaurus @ScottFarbman @bobbyfijan In California especially, alternative means of ventilation are required where exterior noise levels exceed a code-mandated average noise level at a site. If you need to close the windows to meet the interior noise requirement, mechanical ventilation is typically included.

@MelansonFinn It’s a bit lower profile, but the Quad Dipsea in Marin County could be a fun one. The course is 7-ish miles long from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach, run 4 times/laps. So you’ve got out-and-back action, easy logistics for video/tracking, high bandwidth, etc.

@MelansonFinn Mt. Diablo in Northern California, east of Oakland. Inside state park larger than some national parks, connected to many other parks. 3,000’ of vert from any trailhead to the summit. Steep trails, fire roads, you name it. Hundreds of miles of trails. Photo is a view from summit.
