A year ago, @BGSU_Baseball pitcher Ethan Stade wasn’t on a Division I roster. This spring, he became one of the nation’s top pitchers, earned All-@MACSports First Team honors and put himself on the radar of @MLB teams.⚾

The last year in Bowling Green dramatically changed the course of Stade’s career. He recorded 103 strikeouts in just 64 innings and across his last nine starts, Stade struck out at least six hitters in every appearance and posted a 3.63 earned-run average. Last season, the Stingers beat the Bismarck Larks 14-10 on July 2.

In a high-scoring affair, the Stingers pitching staff struck out 10, led by @ethan_stade with 7. @TaymanRyan & @JoeyCraig both had long balls to cap off an electric night at the plate.

Ethan Stade struck out a career-high 14 batters against UMass on Saturday, April 18, matching the most by any MAC pitcher in a game this season.

Stade retired the first 12 batters he faced, including 10 on strikeouts. Over seven innings, Stade held the Minutemen to a batting average of just .087.
