I'm sure it would make pricing more difficult and eliminate some price bundling discounts, but I think most apps (especially smaller/startups) would see an uptick in users because end users wouldn't resort to the app/software that has everything (ie, Netsuite, etc.).

So much overlap in features between different apps/software- instead of tiered pricing, I wish tech companies would price each feature individually and let you pick and choose.

eg, payroll provider may offer training modules but they aren't as robust as a training app you're already using, or a management tool offers an employee recognition module but you already have a standalone service.
