WELCOME BACK ETHAN NUNEZ!!!

In his first game back after breaking his hand in the 1st game of the year, Nunez was sent to the plate to pinch hit in the bottom of the 7th. The 1st pitch was inside for a ball. The 2nd pitch, however, was a strike that Nunez sent over the center field fence for a GRAND SLAM!!

Nunez’s GRAND SLAM was an exclamation point on a stellar day for Mesa. The Mavericks hit 5 home runs and 4 doubles as they beat Adams St 16-3 in the 1st game of the weekend’s 4 game series.

Leading Mesa to the win were:

⚾️ Cameron Cartwright, 2 for 4, 1 RBI, 2 Runs, a 2B, & a HR;
