A lot of people think they’re in crypto for the tech, but really from what I can tell crypto is more like a religion for the lonely and terminally online
@kararesurrect addressing the Chainlink IP thefts would add a "0" to $LINK's price - we'd be looking at $90-100 rather than $9. https://t.co/44SBPOYPIK
@uCeLiNk @JustATechGuy_ $QNT's new patent is storing a sort result - issued by mistake...Chainlink will challenge this.
@Uniswap & @ChronicleLabs took real patented @chainlink tech & put it behind exclusionary business licenses (BSL)...now that's an IP innovation...steal from the best, forget the rest
@ChrisBarrett@SergeyNazarov@decryptmedia what's the point of @chainlink pioneering & controlling most of the IP when competitors steal the IP and put it behind exclusive licenses for their own profit, "brand protection", and control? $LINK is getting robbed. https://t.co/kdWaYj1KG9
16/x So why the BUSL license? I'm not saying a license on its own will protect a protocol from getting forked. What I'm saying is a BUSL license is a critical part of a defense by layers strategy which includes a strong [redacted], brand, reputation, network, and team.
@ChainlinkThomas sadly more enterprises have stolen @chainlink tech than are using it to benefit $LINK - DAOs copy-paste the Chainlink source code, & then locked it behind their own BSL arrangements to extract royalties & to prevent the stolen IP from getting stolen again https://t.co/44SBPOYPIK

@stephendpalley lots of defi crypto has gotten dark and dangerous and legitimate lawyers and law firms should abandon the practice - even the largest VCs are pulling out for fear of association w/ legal recklessness and worse
@fredwalton216 @NastyOldWomyn lots of earliest crypto platforms from europe were built on money laundering & moving russian money to the west & @MakerDAO often tops this list & its critics are frequently disappeared https://t.co/drNaWzydtg
@Chisomdickson9@DeFi_Cheetah@MakerDAO "legal counsel" means subpoenas and a contact point for the @SECGov or @CFTC to come knocking - instead Maker inserts @PerkinsCoieLLP in front of an army of faithful Anons to say "no hables ingles" (in Danish) when a regulator comes - it's expensive but it's working
@lex_node If that were to happen, any ICO could be structured to circumvent securities laws simply by avoiding stuff like contracts and post-sale obligations. For practical purposes, that would transform securities laws into a voluntary regime since anyone could do an ICO that way.
