you’ve just gotta go for it. whatever it is you want to do, go do it. the world opens up for people who are decisive. life is active and you can’t spend your time sitting around waiting for something to happen. you have to make the move. you have to be actively involved in the overall satisfaction of your life.
one of the greatest things you can build in yourself is the ability to just figure it out. you don’t need to know how. you don’t need the answer yet. you just need that little voice that goes, fuck it. I’ll figure it out. then you do. over and over. eventually you stop being so afraid of what you don’t know.
at some point, you have to decide whether or not you are willing to be temporarily bad at the thing you claim you want to master. passion and ambition aren't enough unless you're willing to put the reps in. your calling requires dedication.
why does everyone act like assuming good things is delusional but assuming bad things is just "being realistic" both are assumptions. Neither is proven. you might as well pick the one that actually benefits you. Like???

If hope feels too heavy, borrow something smaller: curiosity. What might tomorrow reveal? Who might surprise you? Which version of yourself have you not met yet?
Women should keep records of their own becoming. Dreams. Recurring symbols. Sudden desires. Things that ended. Things that arrived. Years later, you can often see the pattern your present self was too close to recognize.
Some seasons of your life are meant to make you unfamiliar to yourself. New desires. New boundaries. New appetites. New ways of seeing. Transformation can feel disorienting while you’re still meeting the woman emerging from it.
I think a woman becomes more magnetic as she becomes more specific. Specific tastes. Specific desires. Specific pleasures. Specific boundaries. It is so alluring to be a woman whose life could only belong to her.
