if you are a new bird owner, please do not buy from the Kaytee food and toy brand. the plastics used in their toys are harmful to birds and their food and treats are worse. they have been linked to strokes and health problems in birds. 1/?

when I started caring for birds, my second cockateil was named keiko, and she was on a Kaytee diet. I had her for 10 days before she had a stroke and died, almost directly from the food she was eating. I miss her everyday, pet death is never something anyone should deal with, 2/?
