Trying to create a more skills based focus within our Y7 SOW. We are looking at โtwisted talesโ but I really want to focus on how writers build tension within writing. Any advice on lessons that have worked well? I have checked @LitdriveUK

With all the focus on #catchup at the moment does anyone have any ideas how this can be implemented with KS4 virtually? I am going to use Seneca but I really want to make sure they are getting the most of it. Struggling for inspiration! @Team_English1#edutwitter
We have all set up google classroom for our form groups. I am updating them on my life every day with cute dot pictures etc and they are updating me on thereโs. Itโs such a good way to keep in contact and check up on everyones well-being ๐ฑโค๏ธโ๐ผ
Iโve also had a no plans weekend so had chance to mark all my books and get up to date with planning etc. I feel so smug with myself, yet also a little sad that this is what makes me excited now ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ซ

@MaloneyChrissy I have two teaching weeks left after half term before finishing my training year. Hardest yet most rewarding year of my life. I have grown so much and even in the most stressful times, I have loved every minute. Just take each day as a new day to make a difference. ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ซ
Every time I read about this I find it fascinating! As native speakers of English we donโt get taught this, we just sort of know it but for #EAL learners itโs not as straight forward...
University Assignment finally submitted after a very long week of working on it. Now to celebrate by planning lessons for after Easter ๐ฃ ๐ฅณ #PGCElife#traintoteach
