@ronniep @WhoWasThurs Over an hour was spent debating something that’s been firm in the SBC for 20+ years & over a century for Baptist history. If it still is the majority view, they weren’t at Anaheim. This is why a state voting hub system is needed for accurate representation.

@dbeardedbaptist @tomascol The only reason there is ambiguity is because there are those that want to make it say something it doesn’t say & was never intended to say. Context and history matters. The scriptures do not distinguish between lead & associate pastor. Both are pastors & are subject to 1 Tim 3
