@dirt1317 @brucesprinky i feel that there is much more to be done regarding who should be seated on a parole board so as to ensure that an individual is granted a fair and appropriate outcome, but i’m speaking objectively here. parole isn’t a guarantee of freedom, it’s the right to advocate for it.

@Neo_Paulinite @WriteToRebel capital cases cost taxpayers more compared to cases of life w/o parole. pre-trial costs, trial costs, decades of appeals, the cost of incarceration (capital offenders aren’t housed in standard maximum security prisons), the cocktail of drugs used to make the lethal injection.
