ZIFA has launched an independent whistleblower platform that enables the public to anonymously report unethical conduct by football officials, players, and other stakeholders as part of efforts to restore integrity and public confidence in Zimbabwean football.
To some pple, corruption is everything. They form syndicates to steal, driven by an obsession to get rich quick, & a ludicrous urge to outshine other #Tribes. Let's grab power, farms, positions of influence, mines. Let's grab it all for ourselves. The #Wezhira enthrallment

When people engage in #Corruption or any wrongdoing they justify it on the need to survive or other immediates. Social psychologists call it the False Concensus Effect. Eg:
1. If others are doing it, why not me.
2. It's the way things are done these days.
3. Leaders do it also.
To a large extent, colonial legacy fostered negative perceptions about formal employment, inciting blacks to steal from employer as compensation for stolen land & cattle. In SA townships, those that steal from employer are still celebrated as heroes recovering what whites stole.
We hve pple with a Mindset that thinks in small & petty terms occupying key positions in gvt. Pple without any regard whatsoever for national interests & whose only focus is selfgain. They plunder the state, corrupt staff recruitment & procurement systems, instilling fear

Communities play a vital role in improving public service delivery.
Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z), through the Inclusive Service Delivery in Africa (ISDA) project, convened a Community Interface Meeting in Mzilikazi, Bulawayo, bringing together community members and key duty bearers to discuss transparency, accountability and integrity in health service delivery.
The meeting provided a platform for citizens to engage directly with Bulawayo City Councillor Lezina Mohamed, the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) on issues affecting access to quality healthcare and strengthening accountability.
ZACC outlined the available mechanisms for reporting corruption, the importance of properly documenting corruption cases, and the processes that help ensure reports are investigated and addressed by the relevant authorities.
Councillor Lezina Mohamed reaffirmed her commitment to engaging Member of Parliament from the constituency to support efforts to address corruption in the healthcare sector and strengthen accountability in public health service delivery.
Through open dialogue and collective action, communities and public institutions can work together to build transparent, accountable and responsive health systems for all.

Communities must be at the centre of the fight against corruption in healthcare.
Transparency International Zimbabwe convened a Community Interface Meeting in Gweru, bringing together the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC), the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Zimbabwe Gender Commission , civil society organisations and community-based organisations to discuss corruption risks affecting access to medicines.
The dialogue highlighted key challenges, including unclear user fees, medicine shortages, unofficial parallel health services, corruption at border posts that fuels the grey market for medicines, and limited public awareness of patients' rights. Participants also noted that older persons, persons with disabilities and key populations are disproportionately affected, with stigma continuing to limit access to essential healthcare.
The meeting reaffirmed that tackling corruption in the health sector requires stronger accountability, greater transparency and empowered citizens who know their rights and can demand quality public services.
Together, we can build a health system that serves everyone with integrity.

The cost of digitization is too high. They said $200
1. $100 lawyer fees
2. $70 online system
3. $30 deeds office
4. $ tax
How many people can afford these fees? How many of the high density houses have complicated estate stories mainly due to the HIV crisis?
Leaders must model ethical behavior. Research done by ERC showed that leaders' behavior has the greatest influence on the culture of an org, & that culture exerts the greatest influence on employee behavior. When leaders' tone is ethical, culture turns ethical, so are employees.
Unethical business practices are psychological traps we have to grapple with in the workplace such that if we aren't aware of their existence we will always fall victim to them. Awareness is built through Ethics & Compliance training and practice.
