Discovered Afterburn by @P1x3lboy and mesmerized by these shapes and the light! Amazing deep space vibes.
All of these pieces share lineage by being evolved from each other (637, 645, 647, 648). Still minting on @fx_hash_
Last month @itsdanpearson homed their first 'Contrapuntos'.
It's never too late to go after series you love. We're keen to share collector stories, the truest expressions of what makes this community immensely special. ๐ค
Let's dive in with: Daniel! โ
"Thereโs something about 'Contrapuntos' that feels both mathematical and deeply human. In its world of stacked, overlapping rectangles, I see and feel an emotional tempo: a visual symphony where color and geometry carry the melody."
Iโve always gravitated toward the minimalist pieces of the series, works that feel deliberate and safe. The maximalist iterations are visually impressive but intense, like walking through a city where every window is lit and every voice is speaking at once. These very busy 'Contras' remind me, perhaps too much, of the North Jersey suburbs where I was raised.
'Contra' #762, by contrast, feels calm yet vivid, sitting on the edge of both worlds I previously described. The red background provides an assertive field, while the yellow-to-red spectrum bars shepherd intense warmth and energy across the piece. This effect reminds me so much of late afternoon sunlight pouring through the stained-glass windows of my childhood home, with the dust particles in its path clinging to its brightness and warmth. The dark greens and the off-center black bar add tension and an imperfection that makes #762 feel very alive.
Iโm beyond thrilled to have collected this piece by a wonderful artist. To me, it demonstrates some of the finest traits of an algorithm, at least for my general preference as a collector: repetition with variation and stability interrupted by tension. 'Contrapuntos' as a generative system, produces iterations that carry both memory and sensation.
In open-form, value compounds. Every depth is interest accrued.
Generations #910 (owned by @ethspresso ) by @ciphrd - depth 8, $86+ in fees, 18 evolutions
eight generations of algorithmic decisions building on each other.
this isn't static art appreciation. it's financial math where aesthetic choices create revenue streams over time.
the deeper the evolution, the more interest the system pays out.

Great reminder to mint a piece of Digitum Mens Trahit by the talented @D_VISION7 on @fx_hash_ now, before the code evolves!
I minted #488 (left) as a gen 1 piece and #489 (right) as a gen 2 piece evolved from someone else's gen 1 piece ๐คฉ
The next chapter of Digitum Mens Trahit
is ready to ship and marking the start of:
'The Journey'
There are a few hours left to mint artworks from
the 'Awakening' phase.
Code evolution is today 2pm CET on @fx_hash_
See you on the other side๐พ

Amazing collection by @robscalera - I had to get this triptych ๐คฉ
Love the very different levels of complexity. The palettes are on point, from the light and calm in the airy piece to the suitable dark tones in the more complex pieces. Love it!
I fed it warped noise, misaligned the grid, and layered outputs until it started to fall apart.
The results didnโt look clean or stable. Lines slipped out of place. Shapes overlapped or collapsed. The system still followed rules, but the results felt unstable in a good way.
