@JustAMillenay Saying we want villains and then adding maybe the most obscure villain in the entire franchise is probably what’s annoying to most people lol. When I said I wanted villains, I meant Green Goblin or Juggernaut, not the fucking Hood lmao
@benga1scentre I love Downs, I really do. But we are in win-now mode. We needed d-line help, along with a proven and bonafide stud in his prime. Plus I’m still just happy the bengals made an aggressive trade in the first place. Here’s to hoping for a ring
@matiascost66298@TheConnorDawn Once again, the annoying part isn’t the animation of pushing a button; the annoying part is how much it dictates the mission design. Literally every H4 mission is “activate [blank] and then you gotta go around pushing 3 buttons. Lazy and repetitive level design.
I just like the idea that we can talk about future trade targets and won't always be met with "the Bengals will never do it" because THEY HAVE DONE IT.
I know I'm guilty of it in the past too.
I've asked them to make an all-in move for a long time. Why wouldn't I be happy with this trade?
We've got a few more hurdles for this franchise to cross, but just focusing on this move, it has done so much for the fanbase and you've seen the energy it creates in the locker room and with the coaches yesterday too.
These are the fun moments that we've rarely gotten to enjoy. So don't let negative commentators bring you down.
@SleeperNFL@AdamSchefter@SleeperBengals This makes zero sense. From Burrow’s side, he’s never voiced anything but support and a desire to stay in Cincy. And from the bengals side, they have fulfilled most of his wants, some of them just haven’t worked out. Now they’re showing they’re in win now mode, so he’s good
@Brightroot2@TheConnorDawn They were like 10 seconds. The only time they were egregious was during Cortana because there’s like 4 back to back but otherwise, they weren’t that awful
