This is the new leader of the 20 AITC turncoats - Shwely Kundu, National President of Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI).

The people who won on the Twin Flowers symbol are now seeking shelter in a party that Bengal has never heard of.

@kakoligdastidar has written to @loksabhaspeaker seeking recognition as NCPI (an NDA ally), claiming that they constitute 2/3rds of the AITC parliamentary party.

However, the Xth Schedule requires a merger of the original political party itself, not merely a section of its parliamentary wing. Till now, not a single @AITCofficial worker has publicly expressed any interest in joining this outfit. NCPI has no organisational presence in West Bengal and has 72 followers on Facebook.

The midnight raid at the residence of our National General Secretary Shri @abhishekaitc has once again exposed the extent to which the BJP’s political vendetta has descended.

After an intrusive late-night operation and relentless media speculation, police sources are now selectively leaking claims about alleged transactions. Let us state unequivocally - there are no such transactions, no such financial activity, and no basis whatsoever for linking these allegations to his PA, Sumit Roy.

This is a deliberate attempt by @BJP4Bengal-led administration to malign, intimidate and mislead through planted misinformation.

@AITCofficial will be pursuing all appropriate legal remedies against the circulation and broadcast of these false and defamatory claims. Truth will prevail.

If the letter has been addressed to @loksabhaspeaker, then the MPs are fully entitled to merge with @BJP4India - the party leading & coordinating Operation Lotus in Bengal.

Why has @kakoligdastidar still not released the alleged letter of support to the NDA, purportedly signed by 20 @AITCofficial MPs & submitted to @loksabhaspeaker?

I challenge her to make that letter public! If such a letter exists, why hide it?

Every MP knows that the Xth Schedule does not permit a separate breakaway bloc. The only protection available is if at least 2/3rds of a party’s MPs merge with another party. That means these MPs would first have to defect to @BJP4Bengal & the BJP would have to accept these opportunist, corrupt, greedy politicians. Otherwise, they will be disqualified & would have to seek a fresh mandate.
